What Is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a high-intensity fitness program that combines weightlifting, cardio, and functional movements to build strength, endurance, and overall health. Every workout is varied, scalable, and designed to help you move better in everyday life.
What are functional fitness movements?
Functional fitness focuses on exercises that train your body to perform real-life movements—like squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling—with strength and control. The goal is to improve how you move in everyday activities, reduce injury risk, and build strength that translates beyond the gym.
How Do I Know CrossFit Is for Me?
CrossFit Is for Everyone! All fitness levels, age groups, and body types are welcome—just show up. Every workout is scalable to meet you where you are, and our coaches will guide you every step of the way.
Nervous? Don’t Worry. You’re Not Alone.
It’s normal to feel nervous, but you won’t be doing it alone. From day one, you’ll be welcomed by a supportive community that encourages, motivates, and grows with you. CrossFit isn’t just about fitness—it’s about finding strength and having fun together.
What can I expect when I start?
When you start at CrossFit 916, you'll sweat, you’ll laugh, you’ll feel sore in muscles you didn’t know you had, and you’ll be challenged in ways you never expected. You may experience a moment of, “What did I get myself into?”— several, in fact. But somehow, you’ll find yourself wanting to come back.
The mix of intensity, progress, and a community that lifts you up makes it all worth it.

Join us for a 3-day trial and get a feel for the CrossFit 916 experience. After your trial, one of our coaches will sit down with you to talk about your goals and determine if a little extra one-on-one coaching would help you build a strong, confident foundation.
If additional instruction is needed, you can sign up for our 2-day, $59 On-Ramp course. This course takes place during the second week of each month on Tuesday and Wednesday at 5:45pm.
